Notes/Domino 6 and 7 Forum : Return Receipt baffler

Anyone else had this one:

I have a database which sends emails to remote company emps connected via VPN.

If I send emails as myself as signer of the agent that sends them. I get a Return Rec.

If I sign the agent with a notes id I made, call it mailhandler, and send to the remote users and bcc myself, a view which collects return receipts sees me open it and not the remote users.

If I don't bcc myself. It sees nothing.

This is driving me nuts because the emails I send out tend to piss people off. Therefore I would rather a email database keep up with the fact that they received the emails and delete their replies if they send one(and they usually do). The replies are being deleted correctly because they are seen as memo forms and are in a different view from the return receipts.

Also, if it's any help. I have the mail db file set to App\mailhandler.nsf, the location of my database which is not our mail server. It, again, appears fine if the recipient is within the network, but does nothing when the recipient is outside the network.
